India found 1st Covid19 case in kerala at 30th Jan 2020. Mumbai, the financial capital of India also the state capital of Maharastra, where found 1st case on 9th march 2020 (officially positive) from Pune where a couple returning from Dubai. They also effected to others, while travelling from Mumbai Airport to Pune.

And it starts with a fear...

From 3 March 2020, the Indian government suspended the issuing of new visas and visas already issued for travel in India, step by step.

On March 19, the central government authority had issued an advisory stating that no international commercial passenger flight operations will take place in india from March 23.

Indian railways on March 22 had announced that all its passenger services would be suspended till March 31 as part of preventive measures to stop the spread of the corona virus infection.

Indian Prime minister shri Narendra Modi organizes a Janta curfew on March 22, Which will be from 7am to 9pm. It was a Sunday, people also like to stay at home, and public gets an instant response to the curfew. But many were skeptical that it was pre-test of lockdown. Taking advantage of this, the state government of Maharashtra has increased the curfew till March 31.

And the land shakes and many fell.

The Indian government has already suspended all domestic passenger flight operations from March 24.

Covid19 infection had already crossed the century and the numbers were changing hourly. But even more alarming was the news, coming from overseas. China, Italy, France, Germany, United States published not only infected figures but also thousands of deaths. In view of all this, our prime minister announced a 21-day lockdown across the country from March 25.

30 जानेवारी 2020 रोजी भारतातील पहिला कोरोना रुग्ण केरळमध्ये आढळला. मुंबई, ही भारताची आर्थिक राजधानी सोबत ती महाराष्ट्र राज्याची राजधानी देखील आहे. तेथील पुणे शहरात 9 मार्च 2020 रोजी (अधिकृत) एक प्रकरण आढळले, जेथे एक जोडपं जे दुबईहून परतले होते. मुंबई विमानतळ ते पुणे या मार्गावर प्रवास करताना त्याचा इतरांवर परिणाम झाला.

आणि येथून सुरवात होते एका भीतीची...

3 मार्च 2020 पासून, भारत सरकारने टप्प्याटप्प्याने नवीन प्रवासी व्हिसा व अगोदर परवानगी दिलेले व्हिसा स्थगित करण्यास सुरुवात केली. 

19 मार्च 2020 रोजी केंद्र सरकारच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी निर्देश देत असे म्हटले होते की 23 मार्चपासून आतंरराष्ट्रीय व्यावसायिक प्रवासी उड्डानांची कार्यवाही होणार नाही.

तोपर्यंत, कोरोना विषाणूंच्या संसर्गाचा प्रसार रोखण्यासाठी प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाययोजनांचा एक भाग म्हणून भारतीय रेल्वेने 22 मार्च रोजी आपली सर्व प्रवासी सेवा 31 मार्च पर्यंत स्थगित ठेवण्याची घोषणा केली होती.

हे सगळं इतक्या जलद गतीने होत होतं की सामान्य माणसाला त्याची जाणीव नव्हती.

भारताचे पंतप्रधान श्री नरेंद्र मोदी 22 मार्च रोजी जनता कर्फ्यु चे आयोजन करतात. जो सकाळी 7 वाजल्यापासून रात्री 9 वाजेपर्यंत असेल. तो दिवस रविवार असल्याने लोकही घरात राहणे पसंद करतात, व जनता कर्फ्यु ला उस्फूर्त प्रतिसाद मिळतो. पण अनेकांना शंका तेव्हाच आली होती की ही कदाचित lockdown ची पूर्वपरीक्षा तर नव्हे आणि झालेही तसेच. महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकारने याचा फायदा उचलत हा कर्फ्यु 31 मार्च पर्यंत वाढवला.

आणि अनेकांच्या पायाखालची जमीन सरकली.

Covid 19 च्या संसर्गाने 100 री कधीच ओलांडली होती आणि आकडे रोज तासातासाने बदलत होते. पण त्यापेक्षाही अधिक भयावह होत्या त्या बातम्या, परदेशातून येणाऱ्या. चीन, इटली, फ्रान्स, जर्मनी, अमेरिका यांच्याकडे रुग्ण तर सोडाच मृतांची आकडेवारी ही हजारोंमध्ये होती. या सगळ्या परिस्थितीचा आढावा घेऊन पंतप्रधानांनी 25 मार्चपासून संपूर्ण देशात 21 दिवसांचा  lockdown जाहीर केला.
